Saturday night was IMMENSE, our busiest night so far at Somewhat Damaged #4 at The Unicorn Camden Live – we’d like to extend our collective arms and squeeze a big hug out to everyone involved in the night… bands & gig-goers alike – you all fucking RULE!

The St. Pierre Snake Invasion absolutely smashed their headline slot, coming down from Bristol and bringing a large amount of noise with them, from the moment they soundchecked, we knew this was gonna hurt, in the best possible way, big respect dudes!

Death Koolaid similarly destroyed the stage during their support slot, we’re proud to have them as part of our night, love you noisy weirdos long time smile emoticon

Thanks also to Spider Redundant for pulling out a sick opening set after our original openers withdrew at the last minute!

The Stereo Juggernaut lads played a whole bunch of noise between and after the bands – cheers you sexy bastards.

And finally every single one of you who came down to support our night… we love you all – MUCHAS GRACIAS xx

Black Sixteen are off into the studio to record our next record… we will be back in your face and ears soon!

After a few months off for our yearly hiatus, we’re feeling refreshed and focused and full of venom. Our ‘Somewhat Damaged’ night is returning to The Unicorn Camden Live on Saturday April 11th with a line-up we can’t wait to be part of, this one is gonna be AWESOME.

We’re SO proud to announced that we have secured the incredible The St. Pierre Snake Invasion as our headliners. These boys are going places FAST, and are hotly tipped as a band to watch this year after being featured on BBC INTRODUCING in 2014. They’ve recently announced a bunch of UK festival dates and we’re thrilled to have them join us in London for our night! Their live show is NOT to be missed!

Also joining us are local runk-punkers Death Koolaid, who are gracing us with their noisy presence before heading off to play in Europe, as well as a brand new local band Black Type Reputations in an exclusive opening set, making it well worth heading down EARLY…

AND we’ll have noise-ridden DJ sets from our good friends Stereo Juggernaut between and after the live music, playing a whole heap of noisy alt-rock, grunge, punk and more…

SO, come get involved in the return of ‘Somewhat Damaged’, and Black Sixteen’s first live date of 2015, and don’t forget to bring a towel!

Big Love,

Matt, Amir, Chris & Warren @ B16HQ

We’re proud to announce that the sum of last night’s efforts means that we raised a total of £309.08 for CRISIS last night. This is the total of all your generous donations during the night and a portion of the bar takings, THANK YOU so much for everyone who attended, and especially everyone who donated, you know who you are and we salute you.

Spider Redundant, we love you. Hollowdrone, we love you. Tacoma Narrows Bridge Disaster, we love you. You guys are all absolute legends and it was a pleasure to work by your side in making this a night to remember, BRAVO.

See you all in 2015,

Matt, Amir, Chris and Warren @ B16HQ x

Details for our next ‘Somewhat Damaged‘ night are now up HERE. Get Saturday 20th December in your diaries now, as this is going to be a very special night.

This is the third installment of our regular night at The Unicorn Camden Live, and we’ll be donating all profits to charity (specifically ‘Crisis’ – who do amazing work to help the homeless) – all 4 bands are playing for free, donating their payment straight to this great cause, and the venue management have very kindly offered to donate 15% of their bar takings for the entire night straight to Crisis too!

SO, the more of you that come down, the more money we collectively donate to this amazing charity… You get a great gig out of it, seeing Tacoma Narrows Bridge Disaster, Hollowdrone, Spider Redundant and Black Sixteen, and every penny you spend at the bar directly boosts the amount of help we can give at this tough, cold time of year to people who really need it.
